sometimes custom requests are nerve-wracking.
i have no problems making jewelry for those women who have supported me for years.
i know exactly what they like.
but sometimes its just not as easy to pin down what someone else would like, especially when i have not had the opportunity to meet them.

after finishing up some custom jewelry orders yesterday (see here),
i was able to work on a custom watercolor.
the colors NEVER photograph properly, so you will just have to take my word that they look great together.
the watercolors i have been working on have really been out of my comfort zone due to their larger size.
but i am finding that i really enjoy doing them and they help to break up the sometimes monotonous work of metal.

they have been made, pickled, dipped in liver of sulfur, brushed, and are finally ready for pics.
