etsy is "your place to buy and sell all things handmade"
i could go on and on telling you about all of the incredible things that are sold or all of the fun ways to explore the site, but i figured i would tell you why i love etsy
i joined etsy 1 1/2 years ago to sell some wire wrapped jewelry with interesting gemstones and beads. i had always hoped to improve my metalworking skills, but had few options living in mississippi. so, slowly, i have purchased more tools, learned more skills, and sold more than i thought i would on the internet. and none of this would have happened without much support and encouragement from the talented artists on etsy, and especially from my etsymetal street team.
so, not only have i sold some stuff and bought some stuff, i have found the support and encouragement that i have not had locally.
